Check that it works!
Videos are a common and valuable part of many online courses. Your first step is to test if you are able to listen to audio and view video links. Listen to the audio file below and adjust your computer settings so that the audio comes through loud enough for you to hear clearly.
Once you have your sound at the appropriate volume, test to see if embedded videos work by clicking on the following videos:
If a video doesn't work, here are some common solutions you can try to solve the issue:
- Refresh the page
- Restart your browser
- Update your browser
- Update Adobe Flash Player
- Check if Javascript is enabled
- Clear your cache and cookies
If after following the above steps the audio or video still isn’t working, you should post to the discussion forum to check if the problem is unique to you or common to all students. If the problem is on your end, contact technical support. If it is a problem many students are having, contact the professor.
