Communication on No Expiry for Students' Network Password

Attention DC and UOIT Students,

Students, your password for a number of Network Services will no longer expire after initial logon.

During August of 2015, IT Services have implemented a no expiry for students’ network password for all of Durham College & UOIT’s student community.

For new students, this means simply sign in with the password issued by the Registrar’s office, change it to your own preferred password and use it to access available Network Services.

For returning students, this means to continue using your last used password. 

If, you have forgotten your password, you can use the password reset portal to change it.

If this fails, do contact the IT Service Desk at 905.721.3333, option # 1.

Dedicated password reset IT Personnel are available in SW103 until October 9th to assist with your Network sign-on issues if needed.

 This adjustment on password management is designed to facilitate your access, while also retaining security within your Network accounts.

ITS will advise of any further changes in this arrangement.
