Awards Details:

Korean Canadian Scholarship Foundation (KCSF) bursary awards are meant to help students overcome financial difficulties or other unforeseen expenses. Bursary applications are considered by the KCSF Bursary Selection Committee. Awards are $1,000 each. Students cannot receive more than one bursary award in an academic year.

Who Can Apply for a Bursary?
1. Previous KCSF bursary recipients are not eligible.

2. You must be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, or a Visa student.

3. You must be enrolled full-time at a post-secondary institution during the 2021-2022 academic year.

The required supporting documents are:

a. Proof of full-time registration at a post-secondary institution.

b. Proof of tuition payment at a post-secondary institution.

c. Canadian Student Loan/Provincial Student Loan documentation, or if you are not eligible for such loan, a non-eligibility letter from the government (Visa students do not need to provide the non-eligibility letter). Note: If you did not apply for a student loan, please provide reasons in Section 6 of the application form.)

d. T1 Personal Tax Return for the past year and corresponding Notice of Assessment from Canada Revenue Agency.
