Awards Details:

The Durham Region Law Association Scholarship Award was established in 2016 to support deserving students whose education would otherwise be compromised. The scholarship is $1000. 

Eligibility Requirements:

• Applicants must be admitted and enrolled full time or part time in an accredited law school.
• Applicants must demonstrate a connection to Durham Region. 
• Applicants must demonstrate past and present acts of volunteerism and community involvement. 

To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must submit a completed application and the following additional documents:

• Confirmation of enrollment in an accredited law school
• A cover letter addressing how you meet the eligibility requirements of the scholarship.
• A resume or curriculum vitae.
• Most recent academic transcript. 

Deadline: Completed applications must be received by the Durham Region Law Association by May 15th, 2022.  Only successful applicants will be notified.
