As the Congress of Black Women of Canada, Oshawa/Whitby Chapter, we would like to share our Leave A Legacy scholarship application.
The award criteria is:
- A Black Canadian student pursuing post-secondary education
- Entering 2nd year or above of a diploma or degree program OR entering first year of a trades program
In addition we are requesting that students provide 1 letter of reference, provide proof of first year registration or registration into a trades program, and provide a 250 word essay demonstrating their suitability and/or community involvement.
The deadline for applications is April 23, 2021.
