TransCanada supports education and training initiatives that benefit the communities where we operate and provide a skilled future workforce for our industry. We are currently seeking applicants for the TransCanada Empower Communities Scholarships program. The program offers three scholarships to students who live in the communities where we do business across Canada and the US:

• TransCanada Indigenous Legacy Scholarship - Up to 50 awards worth $5,000 each offered to First Nations, Métis, Inuit or Native American students pursuing any post-secondary education.
• TransCanada Trades Scholarship - Up to 150 awards worth $1,000 each offered to students pursuing a career in trades relevant to the energy industry.

TransCanada Community Leaders Scholarship - Up to 100 awards worth $1,000 each offered to students pursuing any post-secondary education who demonstrate a strong commitment to their communities through volunteer work, community participation, leadership or other activities.
