To be eligible for the Indigenous Student Bursary you must:

• Self-identify as being an Indigenous person in Canada.
• For the purposes of this bursary, an Indigenous person in Canada is anyone who reported being an Aboriginal person, that is, First Nations, Métis or Inuk (Inuit).
• Be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, or a protected person under subsection 95(2) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (Canada).
• Demonstrate financial need.

• Under Bursary Applications (helpful links section), click on Start my application
• Click on Apply for Student Aid or View my Applications  
• Click continue
• From the list select the appropriate award

Full-time and part-time undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to apply.
