Awards Details:

The Oshawa Folk Arts Council invites first year undergrad students enrolled in full time studied to apply to this award who demonstrate involvement and contribution to the community. 

Applicants must attatch all of the following:

• A letter of application (cover letter)
• A resume outlining school level involvement and contributions, personal interests, service to the community and other information deemed relevant by the applicant 
• Official transcripts of all high school courses
• Two letters of refernce that clarify in what capacity the writer knows the applicant, and explain why the writer thinks the applicant is worthy of a community service scholarship
• An essay on arts and culture: Enhancing the Canadian Identity, between 500-800 words
• Any other information that applicants may wish to provide as relevant to scholarship
• Evidence of full time enrollment at Ontario Tech University
