Established in 2014, and building on Hydro One’s history of supporting women in disciplines where they are underrepresented, the Hydro One Women In Engineering Scholarship provides female engineering students with opportunities to develop satisfying careers in the areas of electrical engineering. This scholarship was introduced to augment Hydro One’s support initiatives through the College Consortium, the Women in Engineering University Partnership and Hydro One’s continuing sponsorship of Go ENG Girl, a program that gives young girls  and their parents the opportunity to visit and learn from female professionals, academic and university students about engineering.
