Awards Details:

To be eligible for the M.J. Gerrow Award for Excellence in Patient Care, students are required to meet all of the following:

• Be enrolled full-time in your third year of the collaborative nursing program.
• Demonstrate financial need.
• Demonstrate caring and compassion as a bedside nurse, effective and valuable skills as a team member, safety as a practitioner, and leadership in the field of nursing.

You are strongly encouraged to provide letters of recommendation from Clinical Instructors from both Year 1 and from Year 2. The letters of recommendation can be submitted to the Student Awards and Financial Aid office or by email to connect@uoit.ca.
