To be eligible for the Experiential Learning Award, students must:

• Be enrolled in full-time studies.
• Be traveling for academic purposes.
• Be in good academic standing.
• Demonstrate financial need.
• Be presenting a paper or poster at either a conference or symposium, nationally or internationally.

Students MUST also:

• Provide the cost of travel, accommodation, and attendance.
• Meet with a Student Awards Officer to have the application assessed.

To apply to this award:

• Log into MyCampus
• Click on the UOIT Awards and Financial Aid tab
• Under Bursary Applications (helpful links section), click on Start my application
• Click on Apply for Student Aid or View my Applications  
• Click continue
• From the list select the appropriate award
