Awards Details:

The Hubert H. Harshman Award will be awarded to a full-time UOIT student according to the following criteria:

• The student must demonstrate financial need.
• The student must be an Ontario resident and Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
• The student must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5.
• The student must demonstrate good citizenship, good social responsibility and leadership in society.
• Candidates who receive an Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS) are not eligible for this award.
• The student must be studying at a graduate level in the Faculty of Education.

    The student must submit two letters of reference (faculty member and a community contact) with at least one of them highlighting the candidate’s citizenship qualities.

• The letters of reference must be submitted to the Student Awards and Financial Aid office or by email to connect@uoit.ca.
• Please advise your recommender(s) that their letter must be received by the application deadline date or your application will be incomplete and will not be reviewed.
