Awards Details:

The M.J. Gerrow Award for Excellence in Patient Care will be awarded to a full-time UOIT student according to the following criteria:

• The student must be enrolled full-time in the collaborative nursing program.
• The student must demonstrate financial need.
• The student must be in third year.
• The student must demonstrate caring and compassion as a bedside nurse, effective and valuable skills as a team member, safety as a practitioner, and leadership in the field of nursing.

It is highly recommended that you provide letters of recommendation from Clinical Instructors from both Year 1 and from Year 2. The letters of recommendation must be emailed directly from the Clinical Instructor to uoitstudentawards@uoit.ca
