  • Am I eligible?
    • Durham College offers a Summer Employment Program for returning students during their summer break.� To be eligible for the Summer Employment Program, you must:
      • Have a GPA above 2.0
      • Be currently enrolled as a full-time student in fall and winter semester
      • Be returning to Durham College as a full time student in the Fall
      • Be a domestic student (Canadian citizen)
      • Be receiving OSAP or demonstrate financial need.
  • How to apply?
    • To apply for a summer job on campus, you must be approved to participate in the Summer Employment Program. To apply for the program, go to MyCampus > DC Financial Aid Self-Service and follow these steps:
      • Under the DC Financial Aid tab, click on DC Financial Aid Self Service
      • Click on Apply for Student Aid
      • Select the Aid Year
      • Click Continue
      • Select Durham College Summer Employment Program
      • Complete and Submit the application
    • Once your application has been reviewed you will receive an email to your DCmail advising you whether or not you have been approved for the program.� Your approval email permits you to begin submitting resumés to prospective employers.

      • Inform the Financial Aid & Awards office of changes in work program status

    Durham College Employees are required to complete all the training provided in the links below to meet the legal requirements. The training includes topics such as Accessibility Standards, WHMIS and the new Workplace Violence and Harassment training. This category will also list legal updates to keep employees informed on information that may pertain to our organization. Please note that some training listed may only pertain to certain staff, please read the descriptions to find out if a particular training will pertain to your role.
