Payment options
You have a choice of two payment options at Durham College:
Payment options for Second Career students:
In order to secure your seat you must provide us with a signed contract or have verbal approval from your local MTCU office.
If you have received your contract and funding, pay your fees using one of the payment options noted above.
If you have not yet received your contract or funding, please contact your counsellor at your local assessment centre to determine the status of your application.
In order to secure your seat, formal payment arrangements must be made by the deadline date showing on your fee statement. If you fail to make the necessary arrangements, you risk losing your seat in the program.
Payment options for Apprenticeship students:
Apprenticeship students must pay at time of registration.
Deferral of Payments - OSAP Students Only
Students receiving funding from the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) may be able to defer their fee payment if their OSAP assessment is available prior to the deadline.
If you qualify, you are required to pay a $200 down payment towards your fees and complete an OSAP Promissory Note. If your OSAP entitlement is not sufficient to cover the full amount of fees, the remaining portion must be paid by the due dates indicated on your fees statement.
Sponsored Students
If your fees are being paid by an external agency, the college requires an authorization letter from your sponsor. Please attach this letter to your fee statement and submit it to the Enrolment Services by the deadline date showing on your statement. Once we have this letter, your sponsor will receive an invoice to be paid. Again, it is important that we receive this information prior to the payment deadline date to avoid the risk of losing your seat in your program.

Tuition payments for any of the payment plans may be made using a variety of payment methods.

Please note: personal cheques are not accepted, cash payments are limited to $200 and credit card account holder's original signature is required for in-person, mailed and faxed payments. Online banking can also take up to five days for processing and payment must be received by the College by the due date to avoid any late fees. Please plan your payment accordingly.
