Dear students and colleagues,
It is with great sadness that I share news of the passing of Aaron Chambers, a third-year student in Durham College’s Computer Programming and Analysis program, on Saturday, March 27. Aaron’s loss will be felt by his classmates and instructors, as well as those in the AI Hub, where Aaron was a student research assistant.
In honour of Aaron’s life, flags at the Oshawa and Whitby campuses will be lowered for the next 24 hours.
Details regarding funeral arrangements will be shared in a follow-up email.
Our condolences go out to Aaron’s family and friends and I ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
