With the first week of school fast-approaching, Durham College (DC) wants to share the following key information with new and returning students:
- Lockers: any student interested in having a locker on campus should continue to check http://durhamlockers.parkadmin.com for updates on when locker rental registration will open for the 2017-2018 academic year.
- Presto Pass: students who need a Presto Pass can buy a card online at www.prestocard.ca or in person at GO Transit stations.
-
Used-book buy-back: a used-book buy-back event for students will launch at the Campus Bookstore, Oshawa campus, on Monday, October 2. Students can bring their gently used textbooks to the e-commerce area of the Oshawa Campus Bookstore to receive cash back. Books will be scanned using an online database to give students the best price for their returns in either cash, debit or credit (student’s choice).
- This service will replace the consignment program that was in the Tuck Shop and the temporary used-book buy-backs previously held on campus twice a year.
- The Whitby Campus Bookstore will offer this service in January 2018.
- For more information, contact the Oshawa Campus Bookstore in person at the Gordon Willey building, Room A125 or by phone at 905.721.3026.
