Annual and fall semester parking permits will go on sale on Monday, July 4. Permits are available on a first-come, first-served basis and students are encouraged to buy permits early. Only one permit can be purchased per person.

Visit the Parking Services website for rates, availability, and to purchase a permit. Please note: 

• If you are purchasing a permit for the first time, you must register online and pick up your permit at the Parking Services office (Gordon Willey building, main entrance, Oshawa campus and Room 177A, Whitby campus).
• If you have an existing parking permit, you can simply renew your permit online.

Fall semester parking permits are valid from Thursday, September 1to Saturday, December 31. Annual parking permits are valid from September 1 to Thursday August 31.

Note:

• A $10 deposit for the parking card is no longer required.
• If you request a parking permit for either Founders Lot 4 or Simcoe Village Lot (both lots are located at the Oshawa campus), a hang-tag must be obtained from the Parking Services office in the Gordon Willey building.

Parking lot name changes

Effective July 4, the following Oshawa campus parking lots will be renamed:

• Commencement 1 and Commencement 2 lots will combine to become Commencement Lot
• Founders 2/3 Lot will become Founders Lot 2
• Founders Lot 6 will become Founders Lot 3 (closed for the 2016-2017 academic year due to construction))
• Founders Lot 7 will become Founders Lot 4

Construction for a new lot north of the Campus ICE Centre will begin this summer.  This new lot is expected to be operational by the beginning of September. It will become the Founders Lot 5. Once construction is completed, rate information will be available on the Parking Services website.
