The Gunn’s Hill Limited Partnership is now accepting applications for the 2018 Gunn’s Hill Wind Farm Educational Bursaries. There are two bursaries available as a result of the development and operation of the Gunn’s Hill Wind Farm: the Gunn’s Hill Wind Farm Educational Bursary for Indigenous Students, and the Gunn’s Hill Wind Farm Educational Bursary for Members of the Six Nations of the Grand River. Up to $4,000 is available through each bursary and applications are welcomed until July 31, 2018.

The bursaries have been made available through the Gunn’s Hill Limited Partnership, which is a partnership between Prowind Inc., the Six Nations of the Grand River Development Corporation, and the Oxford Community Energy Co-operative. The Gunn’s Hill Limited Partnership was established to develop and own the Gunn’s Hill Wind Farm, which is an 18MW wind farm located in Oxford County, Ontario and generates enough clean energy to power approximately 6700 homes in the surrounding area.
