Clean This Carpet is a company specialized in reviewing carpet cleaning products such as vacuums. We want to help people get the most for their money by carefully reviewing and ranging the products available on the market. Additionally, we are giving out a scholarship to one student each year based on the essay sent to us. The yearly award is $1,000.

Before you apply for this year’s run, read the requirements below.

Requirements:

• You are currently a college student based anywhere in the world
• You can prove your status by sending some proof of your attendance
• Write an essay of 1,500 words on the topic of housing 100 years ago and now (more details below)
• Send an essay as .pdf or .doc to our email scholarship@cleanthiscarpet.com
• Include your personal info – name, phone address
• Include “Clean This Carpet Scholarship” in the email subject

The essay topic is “How has housing changed in the past 100 years”. You can write about the way people live now and how it differs from the past; what is the same and what has changed. Use the resources you have available and compare the findings in a way you find interesting.

The deadline for submission is February 20, 2018. We will announce the winner two weeks later. We keep the right to publish the winning (or any other) essay on our website. The personal info you send us will be kept private and 100% safe.
