Awards Details:

Once a year, Grapevine Evaluations awards a merit-based scholarship for a student pursuing higher education in the U.S. or Canada.

Grapevine Evaluations provides a software tool that makes it easy to perform employee evaluations, and the company seeks to make educational opportunities available to those committed to studying and school. Any student who is entering or currently attending university or college as a full-time student is eligible.

Grapevine Evaluations hopes to help alleviate some of the financial stress for a hard working student. Grapevine Evaluations’ owner Wes Houston thinks this kind of encouragement goes beyond a dollar sign, and strives to support the success of inspired youth.

Eligibility: Canadian or U.S. citizens or permanent residents with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and enrolled in a Canadian or US university or college for Fall 2015.

Application: Four components must be submitted for your entry: (A) Application Form, (B) Small writing project, (C) Copy of transcript, (D) Proof of Canadian or U.S. Residence

(A) Application Form: Click to view and print: GRAPEVINE EVALUATIONS SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION. All fields must be filled out.

(B) Small Writing Project: On a website, blog, or online forum, write a 800-1000 word post that expresses your ideas about the benefits of employee evaluations.

Criteria for evaluation: the best posts will be creative, expressing your thoughts clearly and concisely, and avoid grammatical or spelling errors. The post must also include a link from the website or blog to the Grapevine Evaluations website (www.grapevineevaluations.com).

(C) Transcript: Include, or have sent, a current transcript (either official or an unofficial printed copy) of your high school grades, along with documentation from a university or college evidencing acceptance of the applicant into a university or college program, to the address below.

Please note that the scholarship is not limited to first year students. If you are a returning student or in a postgraduate program, you can also apply.

(D) Proof of Residence: Include a certified copy of documentation evidencing citizenship or permanent residence

Deadline: Scholarships will be awarded once per year. All materials must be postmarked by July 30th, 2015 for the upcoming fall scholarship, which will be awarded by August 30th, 2015.
