The GDC National Scholarship Awards are Canada’s preeminent educational awards, funded by leading industry partners and coordinated by the GDC. Since 1956, the GDC has been dedicated to establishing professional standards and supporting design practice in the workplace and in schools.

Winners receive scholarship awards that are applied directly to their tuition fees. Scholarship amounts range between $250 and $2,000. The winning students are profiled on the GDC national website, the national e-newsletter, and also receive prominent coverage in Canada’s national design media.

General Eligibility Requirements: Applicants must be currently enrolled in a full-time graphic/communication design program and returning to continue full-time studies in a graphic/communication design program at a Canadian post-secondary institution. Submissions must be current student work.

GDC National Scholarship Submission and Review Process: All submissions will be reviewed by a panel appointed by the GDC National Executive. Additional details will be announced in January 2015. Submission deadline is April 28, 2015.
