Awards Details:

Reliance Foundry is currently awarding a total of $4,000.00 in scholarship prizes for presentations describing the functions bollards play in contemporary communities. Submit a presentation that describes the functions bollards play at a site in your community. Do bollards contribute to the safety of the residents of your neighborhood, or do you know of a site where they just look really cool? Reliance Foundry will accept submissions in the form of essays, infographics, videos, or any other form of multimedia that effectively conveys how bollards have improved a site in your community. Use whatever media works best for demonstrating the value that bollards bring to your community.

Reliance Foundry’s marketing department will select one first prize winner and two runners up for presentations that most clearly demonstrate the positive effect bollards have on a streetscape in their community. Winners will be selected based on their depth of research, the creativity shown and the overall usability/readability of their presentation.

All submissions will be reviewed and the winners will be announced on June 16, 2015. Winning entries may be used partially or in full in one of Reliance Foundry’s future bollard blog posts. Submit completed essay entries to scholarships@reliance-foundry.com.

Eligibility

Students enrolled in an accredited, post-secondary technical school, university, college OR high school (seniors only) may apply for this scholarship. Only students who will attend classes in the fall of 2015 semester are eligible to apply. This contest is only open to legal residents of the United States and Canada. A letter of enrollment at a post-secondary institution will be required.

Only one presentation per student is permitted.
