Security Studies Entrance Scholarship

The Security Studies Entrance Scholarship was developed to recognize academic achievement by a secondary school student and is designed to assist students in offsetting the cost of entering a security studies program for the first year at an accredited institution.

Value – $500 – to be dispersed at $250 to two applicants

Security Studies Bursary

The Security Studies Bursary is designed to assist students enrolled in a security studies program at an accredited institution to offset the costs associated with purchasing textbooks

Value – $600 to be dispersed at $300 to two applicants

Security Studies Scholarship

The Security Studies Scholarship is designed to reward students who have an on-going high academic average and are enrolled in a security studies program at an accredited institution.

Value - $500 for second successful candidate

- $750 + Potential $500 ASIS Foundation matching scholarship for top successful candidate  based on ASIS Foundation discretion

Security Studies Writing Competition

The Security Studies Writing Competition is designed to promote research and understanding of security concepts by developing an academic paper based on security subject matter.

Value $1,000

** The Security Studies Entrance Scholarship begins November 1st and is open to candidates
until September 30th of the next year. The Security Studies Entrance Scholarship will then be
presented with the other awards at the ASIS Toronto Awards dinner.
