The Ontario Onsite Wastewater Association (OOWA) is sponsoring two annual education scholarship awards to support student members or students of OOWA members who are enrolled in a post-secondary program and are in their 1st or 2nd year of studies.
The value of the annual scholarship is:
- College Award $1,500.00
Preference will be given to applicants who are enrolled in programs that will benefit the onsite wastewater industry. I.e. Environmental Studies, Public Health Enforcement, Wastewater Treatment, Civil Engineering, Heavy Equipment Construction program. Confirmation of summer internship or employment in the onsite industry will also be considered”.
The College award is available to any student currently enrolled at an Ontario College. Participants may only receive the award once during their studies.
College requirements to be included in application package:
- Letter of Interest
- Transcript of related program grades
- 2 letters of reference with signatures
- Proof of OOWA membership if applicable
